This learning resource teaches about NAIDOC’s 2021 ‘Heal Country!’ theme. It includes three sections: Knowing Country, Connecting to Country and Protecting Country.
The resource links to the F-6 (Primary School) Australian Curriculum and can be used at any time of the year, in 2021 and beyond.
Outcomes in this resource include learning what Country you’re on, learning about the diversity of First Nations, understanding how we relate to Country, understanding our responsibility to Country, learning about campaigns led by First Nations people to protect Country, and understanding how to be a good ally.
This is provided online, and can be printed and distributed to students. There are various activities, including making mind maps and identity maps, directions to educational videos, reflective activities and ways to protect Country.

Many of these resources and activities have been developed in consultation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to ensure that the program meets NSW curriculum outcomes for Stages 3, 4 & 5.
