My artwork is about the people standing on the beach at sunset looking into the future yet reflecting on their past. We all stand on Aboriginal ground and this is represented through the Aboriginal motifs. The silhouettes moving through history. The sound of the waves represents the cleansing of the earth as we move forward into unified Australia.
Reconciliation means… People from different backgrounds living together in harmony.
Beyond The Waves
Many of these resources and activities have been developed in consultation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to ensure that the program meets NSW curriculum outcomes for Stages 3, 4 & 5.
