The young Aboriginal man stares and confronts us with his traditions and heritage. The black cockatoo representing the power of spirit that spreads his wings and flies from the past into the future. A future of a harmonious Australia where he announces his arrival as he squawks flying through the skies his spirit realising a voice for the future.
Reconciliation means… Getting together in a group and making the world a peaceful, happy, friendly and a better place.
Many of these resources and activities have been developed in consultation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to ensure that the program meets NSW curriculum outcomes for Stages 3, 4 & 5.
