I have painted this art work, showing learning from legacy. The top hand shows our beloved ancestors telling us many stories up in the sky, where all the stars and constellations are. The bottom hand reaches towards our ancestors so we can connect with the custodians of this land and heal our country. If you look more closely at the art, I have included a small detail of the words describing reconciliation.

I believe reconciliation means improving our relationship with Indigenous Australians – to connect with one another, understanding the importance of equality.
